COLUMBIA, SC (August 23, 2024) – An Upstate man spent $2 on a lottery ticket and brought home $50,000.
He struck gold at the Express Mart at 219 Shiloh Rd. in Seneca, where he occasionally tries his luck. The Jumbo Bucks scratcher he picked out in the store was a stunner.
“I was surprised,” he told South Carolina Education Lottery
officials. “But I’m not making any big changes.”
Two more top prizes of $50,000 remain in the Jumbo Bucks game at odds of 1 in 600,000.
Express Mart in Seneca received a commission of $500 for selling the claimed ticket.
