COLUMBIA, SC (June 7, 2024) – A Bluffton lottery player’s method for choosing tickets has proven lucky, winning him $300,000.
“I get whatever ticket is sticking out the furthest,” he said.
At the Enmark Station on the Bluffton Parkway that ticket happened to be a Stacks of Cash scratch-off. The winner told South Carolina Education Lottery officials that he had a good feeling about that one and bought it for $10.
He says he started scratching it and abruptly stopped when he saw the $300,000 prize was his.
“I couldn’t believe it,” he said. “I went home and took the rest of the day off.”
And today he’s debt free.
Three more top prizes of $300,000 remain in Stacks of Cash game at odds of 1 in 900,000.
Enmark Station #851 in Bluffton received a commission of $3,000 for selling the claimed ticket.
