COLUMBIA, SC (June 13, 2025) – A lottery quick pick won a Rock Hill man a $180,000 jackpot.
“Sometimes you’re lucky, and sometimes you are very lucky,” the winner told South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
The latter was the case when he bought a Palmetto Cash 5 ticket from the Arch Mart on Arch Dr. in Rock Hill that matched all five numbers drawn.
“It’s kind of funny,” he added. “I usually pick my own numbers.”
For selling the claimed ticket, Arch Mart LLC in Rock Hill received a commission of $1,800.
The odds of winning a Palmetto Cash 5 jackpot are 1 in 850,668.
