His decision came after scratching a $10 My Money Maker ticket that he picked out at the One Stop Food Mart on N. Main St. in Bishopville. It made him enough cash to put working in the past.
“I was excited,” he said describing the moment he scratched off the six-figure windfall. “Isn’t everybody?”
The odds of winning $200,000 in the My Money Maker game are 1 in 900,000. No more top prizes remain in the game.
For selling the claimed ticket, One Stop Food Mart in Bishopville received a commission of $2,000.
