COLUMBIA, SC (April 1, 2023) – No fooling, time is running out to cash in three Powerball® tickets sold in October. A ticket worth $1 MILLION and two others worth $50,000 each all expire this month.
Players in Gable, Daniel Island and Greenwood should check their tickets!
The $1 MILLION ticket was sold at the Turbeville Exxon LLC at 7585 Myrtle Beach Hwy. in the small town of Gable in Clarendon County. The ticket matched the five numbers 14, 16, 42, 48, 64 but missed the Powerball® number 14 drawn on October 14. The winner has until Thursday, April 11 to claim the $1 million prize.
A $50,000 winning ticket that was bought at the Refuel store at 860 Island Park Dr. on Daniel Island expires on Thursday, April 4. The ticket was bought for the October 7 drawing and matched all but one white ball number (47, 54, 57, 60, 65 and PB 19).
The other $50,000 ticket was purchased at the Quick Pantry #16 at 232 Calhoun Ave. in Greenwood and expires on Saturday, April 6. The ticket matched four white ball numbers and the red Powerball number on October 9 (16, 34, 46, 55, 67 and PB 14).
The winning tickets must be claimed in person at the Columbia Claims Center before 4 p.m., or if mailed, the envelope must be postmarked by the expiration date.
Winnings not claimed will be deposited in the Education Lottery Account to support educational programs in South Carolina.
Players have 180 days from the
