COLUMBIA, SC (September 8, 2023) – An Upstate woman says a $100,000 win on a $3 scratch-off has changed her life.
She told South Carolina Education Lottery officials that winning was “amazing” and she’s “grateful” to be able to buy and take care of things that she’s needed to.
Her luck changed on a Lady Jumbo Bucks Crossword ticket from the Quick Pantry #16 on Calhoun Ave. in Greenwood.
“It’s my favorite ticket,” the winner said.
The winner beat the 1 in 600,000 odds to win the last top prize of $100,000.
For selling the claimed ticket, Quick Pantry #16 in Greenwood received a commission of $1,000.
