COLUMBIA, SC (January 26, 2023) This week, the South Carolina Education Lottery caught up with the winner of a $1 million prize won at the QuikTrip on Carowinds Blvd. in Fort Mill.

Since cashing in THE MILLION scratch-off ticket in November, the millionaire, who does not wish to be identified, has been busy using those winnings to help others.

“It’s made a difference in a lot of people’s lives,” she said.

When asked if she’d done anything special for herself yet, she simply said, “No.”

There are no more $1 million top prizes left in THE MILLION game at odds of 1 in 1,440,000.

QuikTrip #1079 in Fort Mill received a commission of $10,000 for selling the claimed ticket.

Players can enter their non-winning ($10) THE MILLION tickets into a second-chance drawing for a chance to win $1 million. For complete details on the THE MILLION Second-Chance Promotion, please visit sceducationlottery.com.
