Columbia, SC: Starting Saturday, March 1, 2003, South Carolina lottery players will try to become an instant millionaire on the national game show, Powerball Instant Millionaire.
This weekend, Walter Porcher, Jr. of Ravenel, South Carolina can be seen on WLTX in Columbia, WSPA in Greenville/Spartanburg, WPDE in Florence and WCBD in Charleston. Please check your local listings for times and dates.
In a drawing held in early January, 10 people were chosen to appear on the game show and 300 people – 30 per game show contestant -- were selected to be at-home players. The 10 on-air contestants each received an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas, $750 spending money and a three night stay at the Venetian.
Each at-home player automatically wins $100. But depending on how the South Carolina TV contestant fares on the show, each at-home player could win up to $10,000.
Each game show contestant could play up to three rounds. If the contestant moves to the second round, at-home players will win $500. If the game show contestant advances to the final round and wins $1 million dollars, the at-home players will win $10,000.
Watch the Powerball Instant Millionaire Game Show and find out to how much Mr. Porcher and the at-home players win!
