COLUMBIA, SC (March 7, 2014) – Sold out of the lottery ticket she was looking for, an Anderson woman took a chance on a different game and won $200,000.

It happened yesterday morning on her way into work. She stopped in at the Xpress Fuel on Hwy. 187 in Anderson for the popular Millionaire Madness game but found a better choice in Cash Spectacular.

She went on in to work and took the winning ticket with her.

“I couldn’t concentrate on what I was doing,” she said knowing a $200,000 payday awaited her.

She asked her boss for her first day off in over a year, so she could go collect her winnings.

“This means I can buy a house,” she told lottery officials when she arrived with the ticket. “I’m so happy.”

As of this release, two top prizes of $200,000 remains in the $10 Cash Spectacular game. Odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 600,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Xpress Fuel in Anderson received a commission of $2,000.
