COLUMBIA, SC (February 17, 2014) – An Orangeburg lottery winner’s not quitting his job. He says he’s enjoying work more than ever since winning the Lottery.

“I’d be bored if I quit and stayed home,” he said.

At work is where the Lottery caught up with the winner a few days after his $200,000 win on the Red Hot Ticket. He was relaxed and focused.

“I don’t have any worries,” he said.

His fortune changed at the Quick Food Mart on Neeses Hwy. in Orangeburg where the occasional player says he had a feeling he should buy a stack of lottery tickets lying on the counter. One of the tickets won him the $200,000.

“I still wake up thinking about that day,” he said. “But listen, I’d better get back to work.”

As of this release, two top prizes of $200,000 remains in the $10 Red Hot Ticket game. Odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 600,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Quick Food Mart in Orangeburg received a commission of $2,000.
