COLUMBIA, SC (April 22, 2020) – A Loris woman picked up her husband from work and surprised him with a $125,000 payday.
While waiting for him in the parking lot, she scratched a lottery ticket and won big.
“I started freaking out,” she told lottery officials.
When her husband got in the car, he couldn’t believe it either.
“No. No. No.” he screamed.
The couple was accepting when they cashed in the winning ticket.
“It was the perfect time for this to happen,” the wife said.
One top prize of $125,000 remains in the ($5) Right on the Money game at odds of 1 in 660,000.
Quick Mart #2 in Loris received a commission of $1,250 for selling the claimed ticket.
