COLUMBIA, SC (June 10, 2022) – It was deja vu for a Midlands lottery winner. Just like in 2020 when a $250,000 lottery win made her weak in the knees, the feeling returned last week when she won another $200,000.
The similarities do not end there.
Both big wins came off scratch-offs purchased at the Spring Valley Convenience Store on the Sparkleberry Lane Ext. in Columbia. And she was with the same people both times she won, admitting they believed her the second time it happened.
When asked by the Lottery if she’s a lucky person, she replied, “I’m starting to think so.”
“I had a lot of fun with the first winnings and enjoyed every bit of it,” she said. “This time I’m going to buy a house.”
For selling the claimed 20X The Money ticket, Spring Valley Convenience Store in Columbia received a commission of $2,000. One top prize remains in the game at odds of 1 in 870,000.
