Columbia, SC: On Friday, September 6, 2002, five people correctly matched the Carolina 5 numbers to win $100,000 each.
The winning numbers were 1, 12, 14, 15, 25. Two of the winning tickets were sold in Spartanburg. One winning ticket was sold in Florence. The remaining two tickets were both sold in Dillon.
All five players were rewarded $100,000 taxes paid.
Since January 2002, the SCEL has returned over $92 million dollars to the State of South Carolina’s Lottery Education Fund.
