COLUMBIA, SC (October 2, 2023) – The Powerball® jackpot is over a billion dollars, again. Tonight’s $1.04 BILLION jackpot is the game’s 4th largest, and the second time the jackpot has climbed over a billion dollars this year.
Monday will mark the 32nd drawing in this jackpot run that began in July. If won tonight, the winner can choose a cash payout of $478 million.
In Saturday’s drawing two South Carolina tickets came up one number short.

at the Quick Food Mart #2 on Hwy.
17A S. in Summerville, and a
Powerball® ticket worth $50,000 was
sold at the Exxon #3 on Vance Rd. in
Bowman.
Tickets for tonight’s $1.04 BILLION jackpot are available at lottery retailers
statewide. Tickets cost $2, and in South Carolina must be purchased by 9:59
p.m. for the 10:59 p.m. drawing. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1
in 293 million.
