COLUMBIA, SC (October 27, 2023) – A Greenville lottery player is a millionaire after stopping for a cup of coffee and a ticket at a convenience store on White Horse Rd.
“I just had a feeling,” she told South Carolina Education Lottery officials when she bought the $20 scratch-off at the Express store in Greenville. She scratched the card sitting in her car in the store’s parking lot and couldn’t believe what she was seeing. “I was speechless,” she said.
Her lucky feeling foretold a $2 MILLION win.
The winner, who does not wish to be identified, isn’t changing her life much. “I’m still working,” she said. “Just saving more.”
The winner beat the 1 in 1,245,000 odds to leave one more top prize of $2 million remaining in the Fastest Road to $2,000,000 game.
For selling the claimed ticket, Express in Greenville received a commission of $20,000.
