COLUMBIA, SC (November 1, 2010) – Halloween weekend produced some big wins for the South Carolina Education Lottery's players and retailers. Winners from the upstate to the low country have come forward to claim their prizes.

On Friday night, two Palmetto Cash 5 players matched all five numbers drawn to win $100,000. One of the winning players spent an extra dollar to purchase the Power-Up® multiplier and doubled their winnings to $200,000 because a multiplier of 2 was drawn.

The Palmetto Cash 5 numbers drawn for Friday, October 29, 2010, were: 12, 16, 20, 22, 24. The Power-Up® multiplier drawn was: 2. In Friday night's Palmetto Cash 5 drawing, more than 4,740 players won prizes of between $1 up to $200,000.

The $100,000 winning ticket was sold at Li'l Cricket #804 on 2170 Fernwood Glendale Rd. in Spartanburg. The second ticket, with winnings of $200,000 with Power-Up®, was sold by Upstate Recovery Service on 584 N. Church St. also in Spartanburg.

In Saturday night's Powerball® drawing, one player matched all five white ball numbers to win $200,000. The winning white ball numbers were: 1, 7, 27, 36, and 49. The red Powerball® number drawn was: 39. The PowerPlay® multiplier was: 5. If the Powerball® winner would have purchased the PowerPlay® option for $1, their winnings would have been $1 million! The Match 5 winning ticket was sold at Wilco Hess #946 at 4326-A Hwy. 17 By-Pass in Murrell's Inlet. More than 17,200 players were winners of between $3 up to $200,000 in Saturday night's drawing.
