COLUMBIA, SC (September 11, 2012) – South Carolina Education Lottery players and football fans alike can score big this season with the new, $5 Carolina Panthers instant ticket available at lottery retailers statewide today.
The printing of two million plus Carolina Panthers tickets marks an historic first for both the South Carolina Education Lottery and the Panthers organization.
“We are proud to be the first Lottery the Carolina Panthers have partnered with on an instant game,” said the Lottery’s Executive Director Paula Harper Bethea. “South Carolinians love their football, so we couldn’t be happier to offer our players a new product we know they are going to enjoy.”
Carolina Panthers President Dr. Danny Morrison added, "We are excited about our partnership and the enthusiasm for the Panthers in South Carolina.”
The Carolina Panthers instant game features four top prizes of $100,000. The odds of winning $100,000 are 1 in 540,000. The ticket features plenty of other prizes from $5 on up to the top prize.
Since the start of the Lottery in 2002, more than one million college scholarships and grants have been awarded to South Carolina’s students. In all, more than $2.8 BILLION has been transferred to support educational programs in the Palmetto State.
