The Capricorn spotted a Garnet Red 7’s scratch-off inside the Ashvi Food Mart on Cherokee Ave. yesterday morning and had to have it. Garnet is her birthstone.

“No way,” she said after scratching the $5 ticket.

The $107,777 won is a late birthday present.

“Maybe I’ll buy me a new garnet ring,” the winner laughed.
