The ticket worth $100,000 was purchased at the K P Mart on McConnells Hwy. in Rock Hill.
The winner says he scratched the Winning Streak ticket with a dime careful not to reveal how much he won.
“I wait to scratch the prize to surprise myself,” he confessed.
He plans to celebrate the win with a new truck.
As of this release, one top prize of $100,000 remains in the $5 Winning Streak game. Odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 400,000.
For selling the claimed ticket, K P Mart in Rock Hill received a commission of $1,000.
To date, lottery play has resulted in more than $3.1 BILLION transferred to support education.
