“I might feel so good tomorrow, I won’t go to work,” the husband joked yesterday when his wife cashed in the winning ticket.
He says he was skeptical when he learned of the win, as was his wife who bought and scratched the winning Cool Millions ticket from the Kangaroo Express #3272 on the Charleston Hwy. in West Columbia.
“We’ve worked all our lives,” the wife said. “This hasn’t sunk in.”
Seeing their check for $680,000 for the first time helped bring the win home.
“We’re pretty lucky,” the wife acknowledged to her smiling husband.
One top prize of $1 million remains to be won in the $10 Hot Millions/Cool Millions game at odds of 1 in 1.6 million.
