Son Gives Mom $100,000 Winning Ticket

COLUMBIA, SC (December 10, 2015) – Unknowingly, a Clover man gave his mom $100,000.

It happened when he kept all but one of the lottery tickets he bought at the 7-Eleven Store on the Charlotte Hwy. in Clover. That one ticket he handed to his mom.

While he was scratching through his tickets and throwing them in the trash, his mom was closely studying hers.

“I’ve never won anything in my life,” she said.

That is until the Queen of Hearts ticket made her a $100,000 winner.

“I screamed,” she said, and her son did too, for different reasons.

Four top prizes of $100,000 remain in the $5 Queen of Hearts game, at odds of 1 in 480,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, the 7-Eleven Store in Clover received a commission of $1,000.
