COLUMBIA, SC (January 28, 2016) – A Charleston woman is set to enjoy her quarter-of-a-million dollar lottery win.
She won the prize money off a $10 Big Cash scratch-off ticket from her local Harris Teeter grocery store.
“My mouth fell open,” she said when she realized the top prize was hers.
Now she’s all smiles with plans to travel and buy a boat.
“I’m going to have some fun!” she said.
The Big Cash game is no longer available for sale. The odds of winning $250,000 were 1 in 696,000.
For selling the claimed ticket, Harris Teeter #456 in Charleston received a commission of $2,500.
