COLUMBIA, SC (November 17, 2020) – A Midlands woman regifted a lottery ticket that she later learned was a $30,000 winner.
The lucky receiver of the winning ticket was her husband, who jokingly refused to give it back to her.
“I told her it was mine,” he said after scratching off the $30,000 prize on a WONDER WOMAN™ instant ticket scratch-off game. “But she knows I was just messing with her.”
It was a fitting win for the couple, as the husband revealed they were both fans of the 1980s Wonder Woman television show the lottery ticket is based on.
One top prize of $30,000 remains in the WONDER WOMAN instant ticket game at odds of 1 in 432,000.
Murphy #8684 in Lexington received a commission of $300 for selling the claimed ticket.
