COLUMBIA, SC (September 24, 2020) – An Upstate man was in the grocery store when a lottery ticket caught his eye. He bought several of the $2 WONDER WOMAN™ instant tickets inspired by the 1970s classic television series at the Bi-Lo #5092 on E. North St. in Greenville.
“I watched the show years and years ago,” he told South Carolina Education Lottery officials, explaining the reason for his purchase.
He says he was sitting in his car when he scratched the first WONDER WOMAN™ instant ticket and won $30,000.
“I got a little shaky,” he admitted.
He scratched the rest of the lottery tickets and won another $20.
The winner, who did not wish to be identified, says he’s sharing the winnings with his family.
Two top prizes of $30,000 remains in the ($2) WONDER WOMAN™ instant ticket game at odds of 1 in 432,000.
Bi-Lo #5092 in Greenville received a commission of $300 for selling the claimed ticket.
