COLUMBIA, SC (January 26, 2021) – A Charleston lottery player used a dictionary to confirm his $75,000 lottery win.
On his phone, he looked up the 11 words he scratched-off on his Cash Line Crossword ticket purchased from the Aahana LLC on Ashley River Rd. in Charleston.
“I wanted to make sure they were all real words,” he told South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
With his homework complete, the winner turned his attention to his prize money.
“I blessed my family,” the winner said.
Aahana LLC in Charleston received a commission of $750 for selling the claimed ticket.
The Charleston winner won the last top prize of $75,000 in the ($3) Cash Line Crossword game at odds of 1 in 528,000.
