COLUMBIA, SC (June 8, 2021) – A Williston lottery player didn’t just double check his winning ticket, he triple checked it to be sure he won $75,000.
“It was almost too good to be true,” the winner told South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
He says winning on a Bingo Tripler scratch-off was “life changing,” and he immediately reached out to a financial advisor to help him plan for his family’s future.

Smart Shop in Williston received a commission of $750 for selling the claimed ticket.
The Williston winner won $75,000 in the ($3) Bingo Tripler game at odds of 1 in 528,000. One more top prize remains in the game.
