COLUMBIA, SC (December 3, 2015) – A Powerball® ticket sold in the small town of Neeses for last night’s drawing is worth $100,000. The ticket was purchased at the local Piggly Wiggly #116 store on the Savannah Hwy. in Orangeburg County.

And the winner, possibly one of Neeses’ 366 residents, stands to benefit from changes to the Powerball® game that occurred in October.

Instead of a $10,000 prize for matching four white ball numbers and the red Powerball® number with PowerPlay®, the prize jumped to $50,000. Because this player purchased PowerPlay® for an additional $1, their $50,000 prize doubled to $100,000 when a “2” multiplier was selected.
