COLUMBIA, SC (July 31, 2020) – Two Upstate lottery players bagged big wins after playing the same game at different grocery stores.
They each won $150,000 on the Giant Jumbo Bucks scratch-off.
One of the winning tickets was purchased at the Publix Super Markets #205 on Calhoun Memorial Hwy. in Easley. The other ticket was purchased a 45-minute drive away at the Bi-Lo #5097 in Seneca.
The winners cashed in their tickets in Columbia on the same day and chose to remain anonymous.
The Easley and Seneca grocery shoppers overcame odds of 1 in 600,000 to win $150,000 in the ($5) Giant Jumbo Bucks game. Three top prizes remain in the game.
The Publix Super Markets #205 and Bi-Lo #5097 each received a commission of $1,500 for selling the claimed tickets.
