COLUMBIA, SC (September 26, 2019) – A Rock Hill, SC, man has come forward to claim a $57,963 jackpot from the South Carolina Education Lottery.

Charles Tucker came home from running errands to find his wife waiting with good news. She had been outside working in the yard and missed a call, but the South Carolina Education Lottery left a voice message saying her husband had won the Lottery’s MONOPOLY JACKPOT Second-Chance Drawing.

“Man, I couldn’t believe it,” Tucker told lottery officials today in Columbia.

Tucker’s non-winning MONOPOLY JACKPOT instant ticket earned him a winning entry in the Lottery’s third of five Rolling Cash Jackpot drawings. Just over four million entries were collected for the drawing on Tuesday, September 24.

“This is so crazy,” said his wife. “And, it’s much needed.”

The next rolling cash jackpot drawing is scheduled for November 5, 2019. A final drawing to award a $250,000 prize, with a chance to multiply up to $2.5 million, will be held at the conclusion of the MONOPOLY JACKPOT Second-Chance Promotion. For details and updates, visit sclottery.com.
