COLUMBIA, SC (September 7, 2017) – A Gaffney woman pulled into the driveway and her family rushed out to welcome her and her $250,000 winning lottery ticket home.
Moments earlier, she’d called them from the parking lot of the Kangaroo Express #3406 on Shelby Hwy. after scratching off the quarter-of-a-million dollar prize on a $10 Money Mania ticket.
“I thought I was going to pass out,” the winner admitted.
“I told her to come home and don’t stop,” said her husband.
For some time, the family has wanted to buy a new house, and now they can.
“Am I dreaming?” questioned the husband awaiting the check.
Five top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $10 Money Mania game, at odds of 1 in 660,000.
For selling the claimed ticket, Kangaroo Express #3406 in Gaffney received a commission of $2,500.
