COLUMBIA, SC (June 18, 2020) – 2020 is starting to look up for an Anderson woman, who cashed in a $125,000 lottery prize.
The winner told South Carolina Education Lottery officials that this year has been a difficult one, following the loss of close family and friends. She says winning the Lottery feels like a new start at happiness.
“Through it all, I love people,” she said. “I love helping people too.”
The Upstate player won the third top prize in the ($5) The Color of Cash game at odds of 1 in 540,000. One more top prize remains in the game.
MD Food Mart in Anderson received a commission of $1,250 for selling the claimed ticket.
