COLUMBIA, SC (October 31, 2007) – South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) officials want you to double check your Palmetto Cash 5 tickets. You could be a big winner and not even realize it. Hundreds of thousands of dollars are waiting to be claimed!

• $500,000 remains unclaimed in the September 5 Palmetto Cash 5 drawing. One lucky ticket-holder matched all five numbers drawn and purchased the Power-Up option, resulting in a win of the top prize of $100,000, multiplied by 5 to equal a $500,000 prize. The ticket was sold at Fairway Conoco, 1290 Tom Hall Street, in Fort Mill. The winning Palmetto Cash 5 numbers were 9, 10, 18, 22, and 29. The Power-Up multiplier was 5.

• $100,000 remains unclaimed in the September 19 Palmetto Cash 5 drawing. One ticket matched all five numbers drawn. The ticket was sold at Buddy’s, 12340 Old #6 Highway, in Eutawville. The winning Palmetto Cash 5 numbers were 11, 20, 22, 23, and 37. The Power-Up multiplier was 4.

• $100,000 remains unclaimed in the September 24 Palmetto Cash 5 drawing. One ticket matched all five numbers drawn, resulting in a win of the top prize of $100,000. The lucky ticket was purchased from Russells Exxon, 2209 Savannah Highway, in Charleston. The winning Palmetto Cash 5 numbers were 5, 8, 11, 21, and 23. The Power-Up multiplier was 2.

Winning ticket holders have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes at any of the four SCEL Claims Centers. Winnings greater than $100,000 must be claimed in person. Visit www.sceducationlottery.com for more information.

Since its inception in 2002, the South Carolina Education Lottery has launched more than 220 instant games and five online games. Currently, SCEL offers approximately 30 instant games and four online games at more than 3,500 lottery retailers statewide. Traditionally, SCEL produces an average of four new games each month in a variety of themes, play styles, and price points of $1 - $10. During the past five years, the support the South Carolina Education Lottery has received from players and retailers is responsible for the General Assembly appropriating more than $1.74 billion for educational purposes through fiscal year 2008.
