COLUMBIA, SC (September 21, 2007) – The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) experienced a technical problem that caused the midday draws for Friday, September 21, 2007, to be delayed until 5:40 p.m. Friday evening. The gaming system was unavailable Friday afternoon and became fully operational after 5:45 p.m. The evening Pick 3, Pick 4, and Palmetto Cash 5 draws should not be affected. Any player with questions or concerns should contact SCEL at 1-866-736-9819 during normal business hours.

“We regret any inconvenience this delay may have caused our loyal players and retailers,” said Ernie Passailaigue, SCEL’s Executive Director.
