COLUMBIA, SC: Due to scheduling error, on Monday, January 8, 2007, the South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) held two midday drawings.

“Our on-line gaming vendor is investigating the cause of this mistake,” said Ernie Passailaigue, SCEL’s Executive Director. “The scheduling error has not affected other lottery games or promotions.”

Only SCEL Pick 3 and Pick 4 players who have an advance play and/or multi-draw ticket that includes the midday drawing for Monday, January 8, 2007, are affected. These players will need to check their numbers against the numbers for each draw. Anyone who has an advance play and/or multi-draw Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket that includes the Monday, January 8, 2007 midday draws should call SCEL Gaming Division at 803-737- 2002.

A player with a ticket that includes two midday draws on Monday, January 8, 2007, will need to bring his/her ticket to any lottery claims center for processing.

SCEL officials regret any inconvenience this may cause its players.
