WHAT: Two South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) Powerball® tickets correctly matched five white balls to win $200,000. The ticket purchasers did not have the red Powerball® number to win the record-breaking $365 million jackpot for Saturday night’s drawing. The purchasers also did not choose the PowerPlay® option which could have multiplied their winnings.

The tickets were purchased for the Saturday, February 18, 2006, drawing. Here are the winning Powerball® numbers from that drawing: 15, 17, 43, 44, and 48. The Powerball® was 29 and the PowerPlay® was 4.

WHERE: The winning tickets were sold at:

Hot Spot #4002
3908 Calhoun Memorial Highway

WilcoHess # 905
2769 East Cherokee Street

The Match 5 Bonus Prize feature was also activated with Saturday’s drawing. The ticket purchasers won an additional $467,142. Match 5 Bonus is a Powerball® feature added in 2002. The feature is activated when the Powerball® jackpot surpasses the record jackpot level, which is now $365 million.
