More than $23 million awarded to players.

Columbia, SC: On Sunday, February 12, Palmetto Cash 5 turned one year old! More than 50 South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) players have won the top prize of $100,000. Of that, 33 winners chose to multiply their winnings with the Power-Up option. Palmetto Cash 5 is the largest instate jackpot game available from SCEL, has drawing three times a week, and features a multiplier option, Power-Up.

“Players have responded favorably with Palmetto Cash 5,” said Pat Koop, SCEL’s Director of Marketing and Sales. “We are currently researching different promotions to support the game as well as keep players excited about winning.”

Here’s a breakdown of Palmetto Cash 5 with Power-Up winners:

With the multiplier number 2 = 18 — each winner won $200,000
With the multiplier number 3 = 10 — each winner won $300,000
With the multiplier number 4 = 2 — each winner won $400,000
With the multiplier number 5 = 3 — each winner won $500,000

* There were 21 additional winners of $100,000 who did not choose to Power-Up.

Here’s a breakdown of the number of times the multiplier was chosen:

Multiplier of 2 = 85
Multiplier of 3 = 47
Multiplier of 4 = 20
Multiplier of 5 = 8

Palmetto Cash 5 drawings are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6:59 p.m.
