LOTTERY OFFICES CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAYS!
12/22/2005

Columbia, SC: The Governor of South Carolina has granted state agencies the following days off for the holidays:

Friday, December 23, 2005
Monday, December 26, 2005
Tuesday, December 27, 2005

Therefore, South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) offices will be closed on those days. However, retailers selling lottery products can sell tickets during normal business hours. Also, the daily drawings will be held as scheduled.

Lottery claim centers located in Greenville, Charleston, and Columbia will reopen on Wednesday, December 28 for players holding winning tickets worth $501 or more. Players holding tickets in excess of $75,000 must claim their winnings in Columbia.

Players also have the option to mail their winning ticket(s) to the address on the back of the ticket along with a claim form. The claim form can be downloaded from the Lottery’s website at www.sceducationlottery.com.
