Columbia, SC (June 27, 2004): South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) computer records show 1 (one) winning jackpot ticket was purchased in South Carolina for Saturday's drawing. The SCEL is verifying the location where the winning ticket was purchased. South Carolina is the only state reporting a winner within the PowerballŪ group.

The winner, who has not come forward as of yet, will win $65,800,000 over 29 years. If the winner chooses the one time cash option, they would take home more than $34,000,000 minus state and federal taxes.

More information to follow once lottery officials verify were the ticket was sold.
