Columbia, SC:February 24, 2003 proved to be a lucky night for quite a few South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) players. Thousands of Pick 3 players played the number “9” which proved to be a good decision.

On Monday, February 25, 2003, the lottery’s Pick 3 numbers were 9-9-9. There were 1120 winners who raked in $280,000 in winnings!

The Pick 3 and Pick 4 drawings are broadcast at 6:59 p.m. Monday-Sunday. Lottery players can watch their winning numbers drawn on the following television stations: WLTX-Columbia, WSPA-Greenville/Spartanburg, WPDE-Myrtle Beach/Florence, and WCBD-Charleston.

Since January 2002, the SCEL has transferred more than $201 million to the State Education Lottery Account for distribution according to South Carolina Legislation.
