Get Your Motors Running With A Chance to Win One o
2/19/2003

COLUMBIA, S.C. On Tuesday, the South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) unveiled its first ticket incorporating a well-known trademark, Harley-Davidson®. Lottery players can now purchase the newest $3 dollar Harley-Davidson® instant ticket for a chance to win one of four 100th Anniversary Harley-Davidson® Sportster® 1200 Custom™ motorcycles instantly!

The ticket, covered in Harley’s traditional black and orange colors, features the special edition Sportster® that players can win instantly or by participating in a statewide second-chance drawing. If a player uncovers a “motorcycle” graphic, he or she instantly wins one of four 100th Anniversary Harley-Davidson® Sportster® 1200 Custom™ motorcycles. Players also have the chance to instantly win cash prizes ranging from $3 to $30,000.

Players can mail in their non-winning tickets for two more chances to win one of three 100th Anniversary Harley-Davidson® Sportster® 1200 Custom™ motorcycles or one of more than 1,000 Harley-Davidson prize packs, valued at $498 each. To enter, players should fill out the back of the non-winning Harley-Davidson instant ticket, which acts as a post-card, and mail in the ticket. Non-winning tickets received in envelopes will be disqualified.

There will be five second-chance drawings that lead up to the grand prize drawing. During each drawing, two semi-finalists will be selected. The dates for the second-chance drawings are March 11 and 25th, April 8 and 22nd and May 6th. (Dates are subject to change)

The 10 semi-finalists from the five second-chance drawings will gather for the grand prize drawing on May 14, 2003, when two 100th Anniversary Harley-Davidson® Sportster® 1200 Custom™ motorcycles and eight Harley-Davidson® Super Prize Packs will be awarded. The location for the grand prize drawing will be announced at a later date.

The last 100th Anniversary Harley-Davidson® Sportster® 1200 Custom™ motorcycle will be given away in a final BONUS drawing. All entries are good for only one of five second-chance drawings, however at the end of the promotion, all non-winning entries from the second-chance drawings, and any entries received after the draw dates for the second-chance drawings will be entered in a final bonus drawing in July for one more 100th Anniversary Harley-Davidson® Sportster® 1200 Custom™ motorcycle and 100 additional Harley-Davidson® prize packs.
