Columbia, SC: The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) will host the Public Gaming Research Institute’s (PGRI) SMART-Tech 2003 in Charleston next week. SMART-Tech 2003 is an annual conference held to give lotteries the opportunity to discuss industry challenges with their peers and to share ideas on how best to grow revenues.

The SMART-Tech 2003 seminar will take place on February 9-12, 2003 at the Doubletree Suites Hotel located at 181 Church Street in the Historic District of Charleston, South Carolina.

Keynote speakers will include the SCEL Executive Director Ernie Passailaigue. There will be other South Carolina dignitaries in attendance.

This year’s meeting will focus on turning ideas into revenue-producing action. The theme is, “Lotteries Helping States Close the Gap in State Finances.” Lotteries and lottery vendors will be on hand with their products and services.
