End of Game Announcement

Columbia, SC: On October 20th, 2002 the South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) announced the “end of game” for the following games: Lucky 7’s, Crazy 8’s Heads or Tails and Shark Cash.

The “end of game” announcement allows the retailer to sell their remaining stock of these tickets of 90 days.

The last date for the retailer to sell Lucky 7’s Crazy 8’s Heads or Tails and Shark Cash is January 18, 2003. The last day for players to redeem these instant tickets is May 18, 2003. Tickets from these games can not be claimed or redeemed after May 18, 2003.

Since January 2002, the SCEL has returned over $112 million dollars to the State of South Carolina’s Lottery Education Fund. All of SCEL’s net proceeds go to pay for specific educational programs, including South Carolina’s HOPE, LIFE, Palmetto Fellows, National Guard; Lottery Tuition Assistance for 2 year programs within the state’s university system; a wide range of technical upgrades for state colleges and universities; school buses; local libraries and gambling addiction.
