COLUMBIA, SC (March 13, 2018) – For the next two nights, Mega Millions® and Powerball® are bringing the excitement. Tonight’s Mega Millions® jackpot drawing is for $318 million. Tomorrow night’s Powerball® draw is for $420 million.

Up first, Mega Millions® draws tonight at 11.

Tickets are $2 and must be purchased by 10 p.m. South Carolina has yet to produce a Mega Millions® jackpot win. For that to happen, the winner must overcome odds of 1 in about 303 million and then choose between a cash option of $187 million or an annuity worth $318 million.

Wednesday night its Powerball’s® turn.

For $2, players can try their luck at a $420 million Powerball® jackpot with a cash value of $248 million. Our state has sold seven Powerball® jackpot winning tickets. The odds of winning it all are still long at about 1 in 293 million. Tickets must be purchased by 9:59 p.m. on Wednesday for the drawing at 10:59.
