COLUMBIA, SC (October 31, 2017) – Thirteen Fort Mill co-workers are celebrating a $50,000 Powerball® win.

The fellows call themselves the “Every Day is Monday Crew” and work second shift at a tool room in Fort Mill. They plan to split the winnings, each gets about $3,800 before taxes.

“This is just a dress rehearsal,” said one of the winners, with his eyes on the jackpot.

The group that formed seven months ago found out on Sunday afternoon at work they’d won.

“Not a lot got done after that,” they admitted.

Each member contributes $4 a week to buy tickets. One of the tickets matched four of the five white ball numbers and the Powerball® number drawn on Saturday, October 28 (27, 35, 38, 57, 66 and PB 10) to win $50,000.

Winners age from 23 to 66 years old, and they are planning to buy new toys, fix up homes, save, and invest.

Membership in their group is now closed they said.

Odds of winning $50,000 playing Powerball® are 1 in 913,129.

Millers Produce in Fort Mill received a commission of $500 for selling the claimed ticket.
