8/17/2017 10:07:50 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (August 17, 2017) – While you’re picking up solar eclipse glasses and supplies for Monday’s eclipse, you might want to consider a Powerball® ticket too.

Saturday’s Powerball® jackpot is the fifth largest at $510 million and the most recent in a list of whoppers.

$435 million and $447 million were all jackpots won in 2017.

In South Carolina, last night’s drawing saw more than 37,000 wins. A ticket worth $150,000 was sold at the Piggly Wiggly in Hartsville.

Players interested in taking a chance on Saturday’s jackpot with a cash option of $324 million, must purchase their tickets by 9:59 p.m. for the 10:59 p.m. drawing. Powerball® tickets are $2 and available at most convenience stores and grocery stores in the state.

Good Luck, South Carolina!
