Rock Hill Lottery Winners Enjoy a Steak Dinner
6/13/2017 10:05:18 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (June 13, 2017) – A Rock Hill couple won the Lottery and went out for a steak dinner.

The couple had planned to grill hamburgers, but plans changed when the wife came home from the grocery store with a $250,000 winning ticket.

She bought the Win Big scratch-off at the Bi-Lo #5716 on E. Main St. in Rock Hill. She says she finished loading her groceries in the car and then scratched the ticket in the store’s parking lot.

“I was gasping for breath and crying like a baby,” she told lottery officials.

Her husband was waiting for her when she got home with the groceries and ticket.

“This is life changing,” he said.

The couple is using the winnings to renovate their home.

Two top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $10 Win Big game, at odds of 1 in 660,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Bi-Lo #5716 in Rock Hill received a commission of $2,500.
