Taylors Bride-to-be Cashes in $125,000 Lottery Win
6/2/2017 9:30:43 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (June 2, 2017) – A Taylors bride-to-be has won $125,000 playing the South Carolina Education Lottery.

“I was about to pass out,” she said when she scratched off a win on the 7X The Money ticket at the Murphy USA #7059 in Taylors.

She called her fiancé with the good news.

“Shut up, you’re kidding,” he said.

He didn’t believe her until he saw the winning ticket for himself.

The happy couple says they’ve already picked out a wedding venue, and while the lottery win will help make the wedding more affordable, they plan to save most of the prize money for the future.

Now that the prize is paid, Murphy USA #7059 in Taylors receives a $1,250 commission.

Four top prizes of $125,000 remain in the ($5) 7X The Money game, at odds of 1 in 480,000.
