Lexington Family to Bless Others with Lottery Win
1/27/2017 10:26:56 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (January 27, 2017) – A Lexington family plans to bless others with their quarter-of-a-million dollar lottery win.

While the family does not wish to be identified, a spokesperson says they enjoy playing the Education Lottery together and laughing about the possibility of one day winning big.

And it happened this week, when one of the family members scratched off a $250,000 win on a Royal Cash ticket purchased at Bob’s Food & Fuel on Mineral Springs Rd.

The family unanimously agreed to use the winnings to help churches.

“God answers prayers in different ways,” said the family’s spokesperson. “I say that all the time.”

One top prize of $250,000 remains in the $10 Royal Cash game, at odds of 1 in 660,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Bob’s Food & Fuel in Lexington received a commission of $2,500.
