Easley Lottery Winner Erases Sons Student Loans

COLUMBIA, SC (September 15, 2016) An Easley lottery winner is giving his son the gift of an education.

The dad won $125,000 playing the South Carolina Education Lottery and will use the winnings to pay off his sons student loans.

I dont know of anything I need, admitted the father when he came forward with his winning Money Madness ticket.

I enjoy playing for just the thrill of it, he said.

Four top prizes of $125,000 remain in the $5 Money Madness game, at odds of 1 in 480,000.

Now that the prize is paid, the V Stop on Augusta Rd. in Greenville receives a $1,250 commission for selling the claimed ticket.
