COLUMBIA, SC (August 26, 2016) With the laundry done and supper finished, a Swansea mother sat down in front of the television to rest and scratch lottery tickets.

She didnt stay seated long.

I got it! she screamed. I got it!

She scratched off a $125,000 prize.

The winner told lottery officials that for fun she stopped at convenience stores she passed on her way home from work that day to buy tickets. A $5 Cash Funds ticket from the Exxon Gas Station on Church St. in Swansea was the big winner.

And now Im paying off my house, she said.

Three top prizes of $125,000 remain in the Cash Funds game, at odds of 1 in 480,000.

Now that the prize is paid, the Exxon Gas Station in Swansea receives a $1,250 commission.
