COLUMBIA, SC (August 25, 2016) – A $200,000 lottery winner has some advice for those looking to win big.

“The trick is believing it is possible,” he said.

The Lancaster winner says his positive attitude paid off, when his Palmetto Cash 5 ticket matched all five numbers drawn on Wednesday, August 17 (2, 3, 11, 29, and 34).

And the winning moment was sweeter than he’d imagined.

“My mouth dropped open and I started screaming and waving my arms around,” he said.

Now he’s out looking at new homes.

“You have to believe,” he said.

The odds of winning $200,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 1,003,884.

For selling the claimed ticket, South 200 Discount Beverage LLC in Lancaster received a commission of $2,000.
